Cigarette Lighter Socket, 04 Civic
Hi,

I want to replace cigarette lighter socket (not sure what it is called). I got a air pump plug stuck in it and a piece broke off when I tried to get it out. I am not sure how to remove the socket. I have an 04 civic DX. Thanks!

I put in the ashtray and lighter option in my 05 (car wash change storage) I tried to get the original acc outlet out of the bezel and it was super tight. My guess is you would have to use a Dremel cutter or similar tool to get it loose.

Does the panel surrounding the socket pop out? I haven't tried to pry it.

Yes, the panel comes out. Look in the audio install threads, It's been a while since I had mine out.
