Squeeking Noise

i have a problem. my 95 civic has a screeching noise from where my tires are. but i just changed my front brakes. could it be my rotors? i have slotted rotors and dont know if rotors wear off like brakes or what. or could it be back brakes(dont know if there is back brakes). its hard to tell where the noise is coming from. but i think it is in the front. HELP!!!!!!
