Hello everyone..
I have a 1997 EK civic hatchback and want to swap the old 1.5 for something with a bit more grunt.. What engines will go straight in???

pretty much any b series, you can go d series vtec?

nothing will go "right in." you're going to have to get mounts, harnesses, and various other parts for any engine swap to work correctly.

you need money though and a lot of it.

K20z3. Friend of mine has Civic just like yours with that engine, completely gutted. Very quick. Also...very, very loud.
He loved it (someone crashed into him, sux). From what I've heard it may take some work because of the transmissino set-up?

Thanks for your input guys!!! So where could i get hareness, mounts etc?? if i was going to do a B18 from an integra would i use the integra hareness?? Thanks again!!

you would use your stock harness, jsut different ecu and such, the engine should still come with a harness tho just in case something breaks, B18c1 or c5? mounts, go aftermarket not stock
