05 LX 4door, Front Wheel Bearing damage, help on this

hello all.

My car been having this problem since around 36000miles and now have 47000miles and cant keep going with the problem the noise is too much already.

So i came for help if any have the knowledge to resolve this problem, I was told i need a hydraulic press to press the Bearing out of the hub, but where do i find this press tool or something that gets the job done?

then next problem is buying the WHEEL BEARING i cant decide which brand is good to get, i checked online at advanceautoparts and they have 4 different types or brands probably low quality not sure. I checked Autozone.com and they have a TIMKEN bearing brand ? others honda part sites have NTN OEM brand so which one do i get?

by the way is this Beck/Arnley brand any good?
how TIMKEN compares to NTN OEM brand ?

thanks alot people

My 05 had a bad passenger front bearing for about 60k before I had it done. The entire bill parts and labor was about $225.

I would let a trusted shop that has a press do the work and get an OEM bearing. Honda parts are somewhat reasonable (compared with Toyota OEM)

Bring the hub to a "full service garage" with the new bearing and tell them you want the old one pressed out and the new one pressed in. without a press and proper loading, your just going to damage the bearing and have to do it again.

You can also bang the old one out yourself if you want.

I find the autozone ones work just fine, ask if it needs to be packed before install, some are sealed and do not.

have some emergency money just in case you need a new hub, especially if it's been bad for a long time.

225? good god you got ripped off lol. just take off your whole hub (remove hub from strut, take out axle nut, take out lower locking bolt, take off brake caliper, take off rotor then unbolt the other misc stuff) go to pep boys with a new bearing (30 from vatozone) ask them to take the old one out and put the new one in. pepboys charged me 40 for the entire process. so 70 bucks total
