I plan on changing my cabin filter (08 Civic). How would I get rid of the reminder associated with that mainteance?
read the manual. it should tell you that information. if not you can go to 8thgencivic forums and search there. im sure you will find it quickly.
hold in mileage button then start car keep holding button in till light turns off. Done...Maybe
for the 08, turn on ignition to on mode and press the button odo and hold till the numbers blink and let go right away the press quickly and hold then it should clear.. i hope this helps

The answer is even in your manual! Hold down the trip meter button, turn the car to on, wait about 20 seconds, start the car, and let go of the button. Light is reset until the next mileage interval.

^ yeah, but this is an 8th gen he's talking about..
ASK LATER, SEARCH FIRST! This has been answered a hundred times. All you have to do is turn the switch to "ll" and hold down the trip button till it goes off. You don't have to crank it, mine just went off.
LOL. how do i get mine ON?!? i'd had it come on a few times WAY back when I was first having to service the car....
haven't seen it on in YEARS! :P
am I running my car just fine? or did I just jinx myself? ;P

Im a honda tech i see these stupid lights in my nightmares.
damned nightmares... ^^
