Re: Trunk mesurments

well it's also how you want your subs positioned...two facing forward, two facing back, one on each side by the back....

this should help get you started....

Re: Trunk mesurments

This thread doesnt make any sense. How about you just fiberglass it or barrow a tape measure?

why not just go out and BUY one? or are you planning on measuring the pieces of wood when you go to cut them by eye?

Re: Trunk mesurments

dude first off 2 10s and 2 12s are gonna sound like ****. dont be ghetto. second of all, if you build a box thats a snug fit, it wont fit in the trunk opening. i have 4 jl 8w7's that require a big *** box and i built it to fit perfect and it wouldnt even fit in the trunk opening. i had to start over and build one that will fit the opening rather than the trunk behind the seat. quit being a noob and buy a box or go learn what the hell youre doing. boxes have to be made per the subs requirements, not whatever looks pretty in the back of your ghetto civic.

Re: Trunk mesurments

/\/\ building one that does fit snug i believe IS possible, i think i've seen it done before a couple times, just has a normal type of box in there, and twl small pieces on the outside edges to fill in where the cuurve of the wheel well is.

ALSO, it would most likely need to be installed IN the trunk, not outside, and then stuck in

Re: Trunk mesurments

u could do it with filler panels but not a box that fits snug. it wont fit. and 2 12s with that much air space would sound like **** if you built a box that big. he needs to do some reading a measuring before he builds anything and seriously reconsider 2 12s and 2 10s
