Should i be worried??
Should i be worried??
So broke a damn stud on my exhaust manifold... long story. its the farthest to the left. and when i got a replacement i found out the thread inside is all stripped. FLUCK! so now im driving around with a missing stud and bolt on my headers... going to the dealership to have the rethread it and put a new stud in. until then will i be fine?

I wouldn't worry too much about it. You've got four other studs holding it on. In fact, I would not go to the dealership with. Find a mom and pop garage, they'll charge you a lot less to fix it because it's a pretty easy fix.

an older guy i used to work with said he used to use these in his car whenever he did that to fix threads.. i stripped one once and the shop that dummy checked my turbo setup/tuned my car fixed it for free..

ya thats what i figured. theres a lot of small shops around. but my fam owns the dealership, thats where i always take my car after hours and work on it but im not sure how to rethread it properly dont want to make it worse. the deuches that run the shop though will charge me but very discounted. so i think ill just take it there tomorrow.
