Anyone ever use invisiGARD? It's like $60 to get, but it looks like it's a good investment. More of a preventative thing, rather than a "gotta make the lights look good again" thing. But if anyone has good experience with it, I might invest in it in the future.

is it a film? the thing with that is it will reduce light output at night (yes even if its a clear film). the headlight plastic lens reduces light output quite a bit already.
Re: reconditioned my headlights this morning...
is it smooth? you need rubbing compound to smoothen the plastic and then you can go ahead with the plast-x to polish it up to clear. dont worry they cant be ruined and you have tons of plastic left to mess with lol. if you are lazy get an orbital polisher for the last two things to put on. it will shine up dont worry.
And are there any plastic sealers you can get in the store? Any recommendations?
I just don't wanna mess this up. haha

manually takes forever, a simple buffer makes it very fast. rubbing compound should be used to smoothen it before polish. no plastic sealers in stores. but you can use a good wax every few weeks too. it sticks to plastic, esp the new 3m performance finish.
Re: reconditioned my headlights this morning...
so one of those little 6" orbital buffer things that sell for like $20 at wal-mart will do the trick? And i venture to guess the sealer will be cheaper than the wax and less work in the long run? So i'm going to check those out, i wonder why they don't sell them in stores. =[

Re: reconditioned my headlights this morning...
sealer is more expensive, i paid $40 for my bottle of wolfgang clear plastik sealer but its lasted a couple years and there is still some more in there. wax is much cheaper.
Re: reconditioned my headlights this morning...
i have just used some blue stuff, rubb it in, then buff, buff until you get spasms in your fingers. i can tell you that i have removed all that oxidation and h.lights look 85% decent. Clear and yellowish haze is gone...not bad for 7$ at parts source. It does say on bottle that in certain cases you would need to sand with 2000 grit s.paper
