Re: HELP dash lights out

the harness would be on top of the actual cluster, no where near the bottom.. and theres two harnesses. The covers for all of your fuse panels should have a diagram of which fuses are what and where they are on the back of them.. check there and find the one named lights or something..

Re: HELP dash lights out

First of all, if it's all the interior lights, it's probably a fuse. If it's the instrument panel, it may be something more local. If it's a fuse, that means something caused it to short out. Which could be indicative of some larger problem.

If you're not familiar with your car, I'd go to the local Auto Parts store and get a Haynes or Chilton Service Manual, it'll tell you how to take apart damn near everything on the car.

What year is your Civic?

Re: HELP dash lights out

It looks like it'd be number 30, but you said it's not burned out?

But I've got two questions:

Have the lights ever worked? (i.e. How long have you had the car?)

Is it all the interior lights on the dash, or just the instrument panel?

I have had my car for about 6 months and i have never seen them work and it's all the lights on the dash which makes me think short wire or bad dimmer switch i hate to do it but i might have to just take it to the honda place and say here fix it and then work off the bill for a good 10 years haha

Re: HELP dash lights out

Yeah, that's what I'd do, given your circumstances. Sometimes its best to let others do what they're trained to do.
