where do i start well i have a 2001 civic dx and i wanna do a engine swap cuz the d17 in it is slow. i have been researching the k-series engines and i was thinking the k20a but i heard the k24a has the same mounts and i read that the k20a fits into a 2001 civic dx so the k24a should aswell? But other than the engine what will i need for this swap to be successfull like....

would i be able to use the subframe. control arms and axles from my civic or do i need to get them from a rsx???

If so what other parts wont work from my civic that i will need to replace.

So if any one can give me some info or pointers that would be great
