Nice write up and I love the pic at the beginning.

I think this was because his fan ate his last one. Not the wifes fault LOL, but that is what happens when the wife drives the car.

LOL at www.stupid****ingbitch.co.uk!!!! Oh man, that hits the funny bone!!

Yeah man, that's me. And here I thought I was all cuddly and soft like a teddy bear. Or Triz.

I haven't even driven it the car yet since I installed it, just ran it to check for leaks and air in the system. So yeah, its prepping for the turbo. Although I've been running the **** out of the car since I installed the new ES motor mount inserts. That's my most favorite mod in since I did the clutch!

Re: DIY - Speedfoos' Koyo Radiator and OBX hose install!

The idle with the new mount inserts is, well, "buzzy" is the best way to describe it. Gives a more tactile experience though. You feel how your car is running instead of just hearing it. I love it, some probably won't. The idle itself is normal though, the car just makes you aware of it.

Yeah burke, its ALL about the ladies. That level of tech experience is what I geared this one towards.

Re: DIY - Speedfoos' Koyo Radiator and OBX hose install!

Dope, makes me want a new rad, even though I dont need it.

only thing I noticed, is that the water out that you had to disconnect, is on the head, not the block. Cant tell about the water in though- havent messed with that before.

Question for you. when doing a head swap, you still need to drain the coolant, or can you just take the hose off the head and point it up or something? lol.

Re: DIY - Speedfoos' Koyo Radiator and OBX hose install!

you can just take the hose off and point it up so no coolant spills out. Its not necessary to drain the coolant nor the oil, just makes the job a little neater and maybe a tad easier. Totally up to you triz

Re: DIY - Speedfoos' Koyo Radiator and OBX hose install!

Future tip..... you dont need to remove the headlights. Get some of them fancy ratcheting wrenches... they fit in there, and there's more than enough toom to get the bolts out. Save a step.

Re: DIY - Speedfoos' Koyo Radiator and OBX hose install!

Yeah boiler, I've got a set of those (best thing since sliced bread and toothpicks), but figured someone who doesn't know how to remove a radiator wouldn't have them. Good tip though.

LOL Alpha!

No, the best thing since sliced bread is the flex head ones.... which not only rachet, but are also angle adjustable.... so you dont bust every knuckle while doing it. If you dont have those.... you're behind the 8ball.

Ugh. You got flexxies too. Now I won't feel good about myself until I get some.

Having a low self-esteem sucks. I'm go to cut on my arm. No one knows how I feel. Please, turn up that new My Chemical Romance album and leave the straight razor on the table by the door. My pain is too much for the real world....

ughk, I hate emo people.

I heard a joke- 5 emo kids are in a room, but one of them kills himself... why?
Guesses??

Good looking on the coolant, I might as well pick up some of that as well.

Hmmm. Only one of them could see the trigger of the gun from the hair in their eyes and too much eye makeup? IDK.
