Question about spring install (tie rod removal)

Hello! I wonder if any of you that installed springs can give me some info on how to actually remove the tie rods in the front. I had the whole setup with strut and everything removed on one side as a test except for the tie rod that is stuck!! I don't wanna do anything wrong and destroy anything. I tried to look at DIY's but it just says remove and not how to remove.

Thanks!

Dealt with this yesterday myself.. you need a tie rod seperator (can borrow from autozone)... put it between the tie rod end an d where it attaches to the strut tower, and hammer on it *hard*, eventually it'll push in between and seperate

Make sure you don't tear the tir-rod boot though. The people that installed my springs did that and I had to go back a few weeks later and waste another hours...

spin the nut on the tie rod all the way until it is almost off. Then pound the nut from underneath with a hammer. It will take a few whacks, but it will come off. The reason why you turn the nut all the way is so that you don't pound on the bolt which will strip the bolt. The nut protects the bolt and it's easier to replace a bolt then a tie rod.
