replacing main pulley the one that hold three belts

This past weekend I had to replace the main pulley from my 95 honda civic ex the one that supports all three belts i dont really know the name of this piece since it was in a pretty bad shape and very loose i had to replace the bolt as well and my question is at the time of placing this bolt back i didn't feel like it went deep enough since the pulley started to turn at the same time so i went ahead and tried to do as much as i could. /Does anybody know if im suposeed to do something else or does this sound about right!!!!! by the way i have 150k on my car so i guess it was time for a new pulley
thanks....

Re: replacing main pulley the one that hold three belts

if the main pulley is located on the crank shaft all the way in the bottom its called a harmonic balancer. The harmonic balancer is keyed, if you dont have the key installed it will turn loosely. And u need a special tool to install or an impact wrench, if u just try to tighten it with a wrench u will just turn the engine over.
