Removing Manual Mirror Control?

Hey, I have a 01 DX sedan, and was wanted to put in tweeters in the doors. Am I able to buy LX or EX/Si sail panels and put them in to replace them by taking out that stick thing? I really wouldnt mind moving the mirrors by hand.

Thanks in advance

don't see why you wouldn't be able to do that, but unless you wanna just cut it off, you may have to take the mirror apart to get it off of there.

edit: junkyards are your friends...since you need the interior piece and not the whole mirror.

Re: Removing Manual Mirror Control?

thanks for the quick response.

kk, i dont have a problem taking stuff apart, i just wanna see if it is possible. Hopefully junkyards have civics. The ones in my area only have old, stripped rusty cars.

Has anyone else done this though?
