Horsepower in a '99 SI
someone help me out...one of my friends is thinkin about gettin a honda civic si...how much horsepower does it have and how many seconds to get to 60?

Rep Power: 0 Some people believe Honda underated the motor and that it is somewhere around 170...if you actually bought the car it does not say how much HP it has on the sticker, just that it has a 4-cyl DOHC VTEC engine..but most everywhere you will see 160hp..0-60 in 7 flat.

Rep Power: 0 actully the 99-00 si puts out around 140 hp at the wheels stock...after reading all the mags about the si and they had stories about bolt-on parts...so they always dynoed the car first stock before any mods...and it puts out around a 140 hp
