Will a spark plug cover from a d17A1 fit on a D17A2?.........just wanna know
Also how do you get they spark cover painted? Do you take it to get powered coated or do you use special spraypaint for plastics, if so what brands of spraypaint? any prep work you have to do also

Rep Power: 322 Yes they will fit. The only difference between the two is one says "Honda" and the Other says "Honda VTEC"
FYI, You can't powdercoat plastic. If you are going to paint it, make sure to clean it really good and spray down some type of Adhesion promoter. Krylon has the fusion line of spraypaints that are really good at bonding to plastic. I've used it on parts in my engine bay before and it's worked great so far, no peeling/bubbling at all

Rep Power: 240 sorry to answer an old thread, but where that piece could be found was never answered and i need one and found them on the majestic honda website. that piece is actually under the "engine wire harness" option in the system name menu, it is called "cover assy., engine wire harness", but it doesnt come with the retainers and studs that hold it down those are also on that parts list though towards the bottom.

Wow that sucks.
I have a LX... swaped the exhaust to aftermarket EX already, and doing the engine soon. Sleeper. I've made it a point to keep the HONDA cover, and not get the VTEC one.
