swap a k24a2 engine into a 05 civic with everything done down 5k ?

how much is an k24a2 ( 05 tsx ) noramlly cost out there ?

( of cos im talking about by a shop not diy )

^ firend did his for 1000 including labor, but you have to be good at finding parts for it though. there's a member on here selling his manual parts in teh forsale forum. I think he alreayd sold the tranny though

i don't know how many people been telling me to just get a manual but the thing is ... my car been in an accident last christmas eventhough there wasn't anything major, i think taking it back to a dealer its not a very good idea.

there are a lot of people said i should just wait until i got my k & then swap both the k & the tran. at the same time. they said it would be a lot cheaper if im doing it that way since the shop will hv to take out everything anyway.

i saw a few post on auto swap to manual, most of the people say the price are from 1500 - 2000 ( diy cost about 1000-1200)... i don't know about me cause i live in a small *** town where jdm is that well known. Maybe i will go down to philly and check in the price.

k20a3 is from rsx rite ? 160 hp ??

k20a3 is from the ep3 (civic si hatch). you need to do some research and use the search button man. there are lot of great diy threads on here and a bunch on hondatech too. you can ask questions, but you're gonna get flamed a lot cause a lot of the questions you've proposed thus far have been total n00b questions....i'll leave it at that
