I have a 02 vic ex a/t with a bone stock motor. Im wanting to put a little nitrous on it, not more than a 50 shot. I have seen that you can run a 50 shot on stock but would you say to do other things first? ex-- intake, exhaust, fuel system, plugs--- you get the idea. let me know whatever you would do. not wanting to race or anything just something more fun than stock.

search for the nitrous oxide faq, it will answer every question you have and will get you going on the right track.

yea look at the faq

you will want way better tires than stock and a clutch that will hold at least 160% over stock so it wont slip when you are spraying... and colder plugs i believe. no fuel stuff is needed if you have a wet shot

oh... you have an auto........ i dunoo then, it probably a bad idea.

Nitrous is only good at the track and it probably won't be worth it. Plus its a bomb in your trunk....thats what I hate the most.
If you really want a nitrous system check out what happens when someone gets rearended who has nitrous and judge if its worth it. Unless you want to install/uninstall it every time you go race.

yeah, probably right. it's just not worth the money to mod the d17, and not going through the trouble of engine swap.... well not yet anyway.

I'll just stick to making this one all show and no go. and really just wanted the bottle to add to my fiberglassed amp rack. I might just have to look like a poser or just hook it up to a purge just to mess with folks. Its a demo car for the stereo shop I work at.

Theres really nothing you need to do for a 50 shot max. Theres no way i'd blow money on a clutch if your only mod is nitrous that you wont use often. Some will say plugs.. but i'd be careful with that. Its a risk if you don't upgrade, but its a risk if you do upgrade. Can't win.
