6 speed tranny in 5 speed 01 civic
will the 6 speed tranny with the k20 just swap over with no problems in the 7th gen civic which is a 5 speed...also if i buy a short throw for the civic can i use it with the 6 speed on the k20

the STS, I believe the 6 speed is a different model # so you will need to get another is you have a 5 speed model for the CIvic.
The RSX base and Civic 5 speed should be the same, not 6 speed.

^^^ i believe you're wrong. none of the trannys from the K motors will work for our car.
the transmission sits on the opposite side from ours

the tranny or motor (i forgot) runs counter clockwise and ours runs clockwise... something like that.

Mm.. I realise that. I never mentioned anything about tranny mounting. I only mentioned the STS (short throw shifter) assembly. This was mainly based off of Revo's product #'s.
