Anyone with problems shifting? Please Help

i have an 01 ex 5spd. i have a revo ss and lately when shifting, there seems to be some resistence. It feels like the cable hits something; it has trouble like getting the cable to move foward. So if i am shifting into 2nd, i will move my hand back and i will have to pull to get over that resistence. it is annoying as heck, and it just feels sloppy. can u adjust the tension on the cable or do something to make it smooth?

importspd is an unknown quantity at this point
thats the way the shifter is, i have it also, it says on a thread about the revo that it makes shifting a bit stiffer because of the different angle the linkage is at. You cant do much about it because the different angle is pretty much what make the short shifter work.... i really dont have a problaem with it but my friend has it too and he hates it, i guess its just personal preferance
