Vacuum Line?

Hey everyone, I just got finished installing my injen SRI and it is great. Well, when I was done, I was left with one extra hose and apparantly I am supposed to replace that hose with the stock vacuum hose. Well, the thing is the new one will fit fine, but the clamps that keep the hose on are too small to fit around the new hose that came with my SRI. I do really need to replace that hose? If so, do I even need the clamps? If I do then I guess I will see if I can find a bigger clamp at autozone, thanks!

PS. Everyone knows about the deal with the OBX strut bars. They usually knock the washers from the hood if you tighten it. Well, I have to move the strut bar forward when it isn't tightened to avoid the washer problem. Does the strut bar still work when not tightened or what?
