understeer, or oversteer
Has anyone pushed their car to its limit and found out what the car does under or oversteer? If you have, what do you drive, coupe, sedan? Stock, or do you have larger rims, other aftermarket parts that affect handling?
(My definition just to keep things clear is oversteer is when you turn sharply and the rear tires slide out, while in understeer the front tires slide and don't turn the car in accordance with how sharply you have them turned)
Just as a reminder this is a curiosity and I really do not want people out their trying to find out and hurting their cars or people or themselves! I hope their is someone who might race solo or something that might know.

Just like about every front wheel drive car, understeer happens earlier and more predictable than oversteer. I've had it slide over the front wheel tires a lot of times already, and I've had the back swing out only once or twice. Coupe on 15", not dropped and running Michelins. I'm absolutely convinced that strut bars, and better springs/coilovers/struts will improve understeer a lot. But only if you get better tires also. Something like Bridgestone Potenza RE 040's

It's dangerous turning when going 85+ on the stock tires. They have no grip what-so-ever.
Ground control coilovers dropped more in the front than rear and koni adjustables stiffer in the back gives a more equaled out oversteer. Understeer is always a factor for fwd, but pushing out your tail requires alot of driving space and luck. I don't have any sways or struts, but found that adjusting ride height and shock dampens an effective way to determine oversteer.
well, turning at about 80 mph, the car fishtails like sh*t, the damn firestones lose all their grip, and you need to countersteer or you will end up in a wall. Good thing I am getting my rims, tires, drop, and strut bar soon.
