Rep Power: 400 You'd be missing the VTC and a couple other things that the K series has to make iVTEC work. You're gonna find yourself rewiring a bunch of **** too, where by the time you did all that crap, it would have been easier to take the car and paperwork to the dealer, and have the immobilizer taken care of.

Rep Power: 0 that is a simple ans to a simple q. if you want a specific ans, alrite, like boiler said, VTC won't work, TEMP sensor won't work, and you'll be throwing in a bunch of CEL even if you got it to work.
i dun blame you if you call me someone who doesn't know anything because u dun know me, neither am i going to defend it. but have respect for others.

Rep Power: 0 I didnt say you dont know anything...just that you have never tried it and all you speak about is theory...i was just checking if anyone has tried it...because if no one has...im going to try it...on my d17 head swap...and if it works...im going to save a lot on my swap...dont need k-pro....u dont need vtc for vtec to work...you need it for the computer to keep adjusting as the motor winds but if you tune it like a b16...has a vtec cam...solenoid...all you actually need is power to the solenoid....

Rep Power: 255 Yeah listen to wiser people. B ecu K engine. hummmm B- no variable cam controll, k & D18- needs it, B- distrubuter, K & D17 - coil packs *controlled by ecu*, B- 5 gears, k-5 or 6.. any more bright ideas?
You wont have spark or timing and throw ever ECU code imaginable. And have no reverse lock out
