dude, this is such basic wiring. if you dont know basic grounding and matching wire colors, i would say dont do it. pay some homeless guy to do it. but if you want to attempt it, ground the 2 black wires, one from each fog, to any bolt that goes through metal. make sure you use ring terminals so they dont come off. now, you need to figure out if you want to use a manual switch or wire them to the headlight switch in the car. if you want to use your own switch, run the 2 power wires, one from each fog, to a switch, then run 1 wire equal to the 2 on the other side of the switch to an inline fuse. the size fuse will be in the directions that you shouldve read instead of lookin like a newb on here. from the fuse run a wire to the battery. do a mad wire tuck and youre done. if you want to use your factory headlight switch, grab a test light and turn the headlights on, or parking lights depending on when you want the fogs to come on. jam the test light probe in the headlight harness until it lights up. theres your power. splice the 2 power wires from the fogs into the harness. dont use 1 headlight harness for both fogs. i think that should be it.

rep is appreciated

Fog Light Help Plz!

i got all the wiring from the fog lights to the inside of the car through the fire wall of the passenger side of the car. i have two connecters one with blue and red wire and the other is like a gray connector that both are now just sitting in the passenger floor to connect to something. i know where everything connects to on the drivers side as far as the switch relay, fuse box and the switch. but i have one connecter just like the passenger side its a white connector that has red and blue wire i think. im guessing some how both sides connect to the main harness of the car so the fog light harness and the switch harness tie in and connect to each other. please help me by telling me where these connectors connect to or if one of them are just for extra accessories? thank you very much!

any normal foglights would be fine and easy to hook up, but I just bought these honda knock-offs from ebay. they come with a load of harnesses. the instructions suck, as they lead me to everything but leave two open harnesses that i cant see where they connect to. the fuse box, relays, all that is hooked up, but there are two wires running from the foglights into the car through the firewall that cant hook up to anything. Thats why im having such a problem. its not really matching colors as it is finding where to plug the wiring harnesses into. does anyone have any experience with installing these foglights?

well it could be that those wires might just hook up the the oem foglight switch. maybe go find an oem fog switch.

wiring fogs to parking lights

i just wired my fogs to my parking lights, but after having them on for a few times, one of the two fogs went out. i was wondering y is the reason it did that? right now both fogs are tieing in to one side of the parking light with a relay and i think its called a in-line fuse also. is it because its to much power, like you have to have two relays, or a stronger fuse? and how do you wire them up exactly? thank you very much!

the fog lights need way more power than the parking lights can supply...you need to tap into a stronger power source like your headlights, 12v socket inside, battery directly...

you need a fog light wire harness from here with a relay so it gets power directly from the battery. then you just wire up the trigger wire to the parking light wire. so when you turn the parking light on, it provides a low volt signal which opens the relay, so the fogs can draw power directly from the battery via a thick power cable.
