problem after paintin caliper
i painted my calipers and the bolted them back and beld them now i have no brake pressure. what could be the problem? i had no problems before i did it now i can't drive my car. 2002 civic EX
do your brakes feel spungy if they do you need to bleed your brakes you most likely have air in your system i would recomend doing front and back start with your RR then LR then RF and LF after you bleed them check your level if you need to put fluid in it make sure its DOT 3

Try gravity bleeding them, basically open both front bleeder valves and remove the cap to the master cylinder and keep adding brake fluid to the master cylinder until the fluid runs clean with no bubbles. Just make sure you don't let the master cylinder run dry, and don't pump the pedal until both valves are closed and the master cylinder cap is back on. I've used this method 100's of times when I turned wrenches for a living, the only down side is that you use a bit more fluid.
pump the brake with the car off and see what happens when u put new brakes on u have to pump them. Make sure fluid is level if it needs more then put more also if u need to repeat the process over again to ake sure there is enough brake fluid in the cylinder

Once when I work for a Ford dealer, I gave a car a tune up, oil change, and a set of shocks only to find out I had the wrong car.
