Interior paint help

Don't know if this is the right forum if, not can a mod please move it to the correct one. There's no paint or interior forum so here it goes.

Hope y'all can help me out. I painted my inteior this past week and 90% of my trim pieces came out smooth as glass, but my door panels are really rough. This is the second time that I have stripped the paint and repainted on all trim pieces but only the doors are jacked up. Is there anything that I can do without damaging the doors or the paint? I really don't have time to strip and repaint again. Please help me out!!!!

Damn... I don't really have time. I guess I'll leave it as is for the next couple of weeks and then do it after that. If anyone knows of a quick temp fix, please let me know.

Dye??? Why dye? It's hard plastic so i figured that paint would be the best option.

Dye will stay on the plastic better and not scratch off.

Ahhhh... Gotcha... I doubt the color I'm using is made in dye. It's a cobalt blue with metallic flake. Looks really nice in the sun. Like I said I didn't have any problems with any of my other pieces, just with the doors. and only in certain sections. I will more than likely end up stripping, sanding and repainting, but it won't be for a few weeks. Sucks cuz I got a show next sunday.

Sorry, I thought that was funny.
All you need to do is google "Vinyl dye" , and you will see that a lot of e-tailers have many different colors to choose from.

Here is an example <------------ click the link. I believe I saw a blue metallic on that site.

im guessign it wouldn't do anything, only because usually people don't clear coat interior panels.

I clear everything I paint. That was honestly what I was thinkin of doing. Just wanna make sure though, use an ultra-fine grit sandpaper with the door panel wet right?
