Throttle body

where can i find the throttle body in my 05 civic to increase the throttle response?

The throttle body is located in the back of your engine contacted to your air intake. I cant really adjust it for "throttle response". It is pretty much opened or closed. Remember you drive a Civic, not a race car.

i do believe you need to adjust the throttle-cable in order to get a better throttle responce. but i guess it helps to know where the throttle-body is to do that.


in that area, torwards the back

this actually has the cruise cable boxed in, which you can also tighten. the throttle cable is to the right.

dont tighten that too much, i did and was revving at 2.5-3k rpms on idle i didnt have the engine warm either..i figured ahhh what the hell it wont matter, well it did and i found out while driving
