leaking strut

I just took my 2002 ex in for the first oil change and they said my right strut was leaking. Anyone know of a problem with the struts on 2002's? They are replacing it for free, but they have the part on back order and it may be a week or so. Is it bad to drive it around for awhile with this problem?

other than having oil and crap oozing out of your shocks/struts, how would i be able to determine if mine are blown? my ride seems to be getting more and more harsh everytime i drive my car and im wondering if maybe my suspension is f'ed up[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG]

my bro has barely 9K on his EX...and the front left strut has gone...!!!

It's terrible...I push down just a bit and the whole side shakes and bounces!!!
