Lock actuator from a EX on a DX??

I was wondering if I can buy the stock lock actuator for an EX and install it in a DX that doesnt have power door locks currently? Or do I just have to buy an aftermarket actuator?

you can convert the whole door to and ex actuator. but you need to wire in something to control it... like an after market alarm and lock unlock switch on the door

you need the entire latch/actuator assembly. but any decent shop can install aftermarket actuators. they are simply less reliable and make a ton more noise than the stock ones do.

if you can find an ex/lx/hx in a salvage yard, just get the parts you need. simple as that.
