DIY speedo recalibration

Hey guys, i just installed 17x7 rims and 215/45/hr17 tires, adn i was wondering if there is a way to DIY a speedo recalibration so i actually know how fast im going. i know the calculation how to change the speed in my head, but id still like to have the actual calibration done. Thanks guys

I don't think it's possible. The best I have heard is go have a speedometer accuracy test done and they will tell you exactly that you are going 55 when your spedo says...

well you could go outand find a road side radar, then find a speed ie 55 and set the cruse, then pull the needle out and set it at 55 granted it might be kind of dangerous.. but it could work? ?

zen_master is on a distinguished road
use a GPS.

many GPS navigation software can tell you the exact speed you're going...

i switched my tires from OEM 185/65/15 to 04/05 OEM 195/60/15 and there's NO difference at all....lol.... well, thats how it suppose to be anyway...

That's not gonna work, the speed goes off by a percentage, so your just gonna be right at that speed.
