two big black boxes under the hood
what are those two big black boxes under the hood. One is the air filter(the second piece) but what is that first big piece.(the piece on the left) I have been told it was a silencer. is that true. If i took it off would anything happen. Would my engine sound louder and would it add any power. i have a 2002 ex

Rep Power: 0 Might as well got but those flexible tub thingy, connect to filter on throttle body, remove that air box or silencer as you call it, run it following the path of the air box, then down behind the right front end of bumber.. add a grill to the end of the tubing, zip tie it in place instant ram air!!
