I fould the weirdest thing after installing my subs, i herd a noise and located it. look in your trunk behind the carpet on the side wall of your left rear light. there is like tis black box thing with a 1 way valve. on the outside of the car if you look at it, there is a metal box covering it. any 1 know what this is and its purpose? do i really need it cause it makes alot of noise when my system hits

actually it's a tracking device.
The FBI has it installed on every car that enter's the US.

It's so they can track you down just by typing in your name into their computer.

[q there is like tis black box thing with a 1 way valve

When you close your door with all the windows up, and trunk closed, you can hear a cluuudunk.. i think that valve vents the air when you seal the car.

That just shows how well the interior is designed to hide you money from others, looking in, even the owners don't know where it is!!LMAO

I use that for change and my cell phone. The cell pops out if I hit a speed bump too fast or a big dip... bleh.

i'm not about to run out to the car.. but.. rear dome light.. between the front and back seats.. right? change holder... left side of the stearing wheel?

Didn't u guys look at every square inch of the car when u bought it? oh my... I think I played in the civic for about 25 minutes.. just opening, closing things... turning lights on and off... looking at what could be changed easily... how everything I wanted would fit.. if the glove box could fit like a dvd player in it if I were to seal it off... lol.. maybe its just me... i'm on my 6th car... so.. i'm makin sure I got something and know how to use it... i'm sure if I didn't ask where the friggen jack for the car was.. i would have never found it... all upside down and stuck in there.. lol.. that was the wierdiest thing when the dealer showed me that...
