shifter ****

this is kind of a really bad question.

but, i cant get my stock shifter **** off in my 04. i havent tried a whole lot cause i dont want to break it.

ANY help would help please/thanks

if its auto look click the link in my sig if its a manual shift ****- take silver piece where boot meets **** and twist it and the cover will snap off. then turn the shift **** counterclockwise till it comes off and get another one. Click on the link below for manual

it was on pretty tight. and i didnt want to break it, ive only had it since april 20th
