No one has ever "proved" it though... (dyno proven it)
my 02 has a vafc2! Never had any issues with reseting back to stock. (but the myth is about 04 & 05's)

well technically the 01-03 and 04-05 have the same ecu so i dont see why this so called STATEMENT would apply to only one or the other....truth is the 01-03 and 04-05 have the exact same motor and exact same configuration... so why would the ecu be any different???
oh.. and i know for a fact that the when u adjust the vafc2 and tune it.. it will still be the same down the road... based off my tests...

after 03 they updated the motor it was a split year same motor but not same exact motor it is a d17 but it has differences
ps: if i can find the pics of the 2 motors side by side i will post it and as i take it apart... did it last year sometime during spring
