yea... i had tons of people ask me that before and i myself have gotten confused about it but now understand..

the EX in the U.S. is considered to be SI in canada for our 7thgen civics...

makes me wonder if the LX in the U.S. is considered the EX in canada.. lol

anyways yes you can.... if you buy a used head from someone in the states make sure its an EX... but if you buy it locally in canada it will be the SI

If you do this swap and don't change the ecu and wiring harness lemme know... cause i have a extra vtec wire connector on the engine side, that way you don't have to cut the blue wire connector off, which will help you if you wanna go back to stock and resell the Si/EX head. I'll give it up for free, cause it's not a big deal, just lemme know when you are actually gonna do it cause if not then someone else might want it.

Oh and get make sure you get the head milled or check if it needs it. I just got done with the swap, and i bugged the heck outta Xproductions and Gearbox with all my questions before, during, and after. So i can help alittle and lighten their load alittle.

You dont have to swap he ecu and wiring harness we didnt when I did mine I just use the vafc to control the vtec and to control the fuel differences between the heads.
