Am I Retarded Or Is This Not Too Big Of A Deal

ok so last nite i took off my air intake to give it a cleaning with the K&N recharger kit thing and then this morning i woke up and found out i had to be at easter dinner in like 10 min so i jumped in my car and drove there without putting my intake back on... i drove on normal roads and it wasnt windy or dusty out or anything. is there any chance that i messed anything up being retarded or am i fine?

If you drove in dust, I would do an oil change. Otherwise, You should be fine. This would be a good reason to have kept your paper filter for exactly this situation. If I were you I would go and buy a cheapo one since you'll only be using it once a year.

off topic here but i just go a new front and rear bumper and i was wondering about painting it. i got quoted for like 500 from one body shop in town but i was wondering if this is high or low or if its cheaper or better to have to parts painted once there already on the car or off the car?

It's easier to paint while off the car. That way you don't have to mask anything. I wouldn't know what it costs to paint stuff, but 500 for some paint seems a tad high for bumpers.

unless u get a hookup from someone you know to do your bumpers, you wont find much lower prices than that. shops by me wanted 750 for just the back bumper when i got rear ended. paint supplies are pretty expensive and labor is a beast. so i think 500 doesnt sound all that bad. but there is always that shady shop that will do it for cheaper but then no tellin what it will come out looking like. you get what u pay for
