X-brace install problem
I know it is just about the easiest install 4 bolts and you are done. Here is my problem, 3 of the bolts I can get out no problems, but the front driver side bolt #17 in the diagram below is giving me issues. The problem is that the bushing #12 is spinning with the bolt, so the bolt is not extracting. All it does is push up where the end of the bolt is threaded into the subframe, know what I mean?:

I have tried using a clamp to hold the whole assembly together and extract the bolt but it didn't work either. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

.....
I ordered new bushings and bolts for both driver and passenger sides. I am just gonna grab the bushing with some channel locks so it won't move, maybe clamp the whole assembly down too if i can and use some penetrating oil. If the bushing gets destroyed no big deal I am gonna replace em anyways. I noticed when I was down there that some of the bushing is worn down to the metal on both driver and passenger sides. I'll post up how it goes....
