Crower Cam for D17 too expensive

I was on Crower.com today and noticed they have a sale on cams. You can get a cam for the d16 engine for $250. Cams for the d17 are not even listed on the site, though I know they make them. Dezod and others sell them for $385, but as I emailed Crower, I also say to Dezod and other merchants that I am not tempted to get one at $385. Now if they went on sale, especially if they came down to $250 like the D16 cams, I would have to buy one. So why don't you put them on sale? Every other honda cam IS on sale at Crower, but not ours. BUMMER!

The pricing is because the d17 has a different cam than all the other sohc engines. Honda only made them for a relatively short time. The cams will be produced and sold in limited numbers, so buying stock for cores costs a lil more and setup time to cut them has to be diverted to less of a quantity of finished product. The r&d took quite a long time as well. You get what ya pay for man. 210-215 whp at 5.5 psi is worth every penny.
