cutting the AT stick?

guys, what I wanna is to make it look better. cuz I put a aftermarket shift **** on mine, and it looks ugly since it's much shorter than my shift stick...I really don't care about the shift time...

Rep Power: 0 i personally have never comea cross anyone trying to shorten the stick on an auto tranny.
the only usefulness to cutting any shifter down is to shorten the throw, to cut time off of each shift. cosmetically, sure, it can look pretty sweet, but personally, i think the auto tranny shift **** actually looks pretty nice and by the way it's set up, i don't think much else would really look any better.
