With carbon fiber hoods you need to replace the stock latch spring with one that exerts less force. I bought two when I installed mine and I have an extra one lying around that's just the right size. If you want it then gimme $5 and I'll ship it to you. You'll have to unscrew the stock latch, take out the spring, and put in the new one. Easy. I can close the hood now with a gentle push. I've gone over 110mph too with this new latch spring and it hasn't given me any problems.

Alright I'll do that if I can! I live in Hopemills, and work on Bragg so I stay around the All American, and I get pretty busy as the Army thinks of dumber **** for me to do. So if I don't stop by in a few days, I drive the black '02 EX with 17"Tenzo type Cs. By the way my name is Andrew. If it's past a couple of weeks before we get in touch I'll have 3 peice Racing Hart m5's, and the full kaminari kit... On that note the kit should be here in 2-2 1/2 wks. it too has a cf hood so maybe you could help me out with putting it on! Show me what's up with the "softer latches", and a system to match! peace
