How to disable SRS light with aftermarket steering wheel?
I just installed my aftermarket steering wheel that doesnt have an airbag and now my SRS light won't go off. I have tried resetting it, but that didnt help. What do I need to do to disable the light or just the SRS in general since I dont really need it for the passenger side? I dont want to simply remove the bulb from the cluster cause that is a permenant thing and I dont want to do that. So, my question is how do i get that bulb to not light up or how do I just disable the whole SRS system in general? Is there a fuse or something that I can just pull that will disable my SRS system so I dont have to worry about the light coming on?

the only way to get that light to go out is either remove the bulb or put in your stock steering wheel with the airbag. no matter what, you arent protected wether the light is on or off because you have no airbag in the steering wheel. if you reallly want that light off, take 5 minutes and remove the cluster asembly and remove the bulb. it isnt a permanent thing, takes about 5 minutes to re-install the bulb.
