So if you dont already know, I'm planning on doing the K20 swap into my automatic EM2. After the swap is done, I'm just wondering... since i dont wanna keep the automatic civic cluster in there because of the gear lights, does the RSX Type-S cluster fit in there? I'm sure people have done this to go along with their K20's redline point. Is there any fabrication to this or are they interchangeable?

anything is possible with fabrication but i dont think rsx cluster will fit right but go for it make a FYI and do u have the money for the k20 yet? i want a k20 and all i got is mounts and some accessories and i donrt have harness and subfram yet

It was done by someone here.And someone else was selling a kit for it to work. sorry I can't help u much with this but I saw it before here.I was trying to put an SI cluster on my DX but after much research it was too much trouble. I swapped with an LX.

i actuly bought an rsx clust for my kswap my buddy who own my local tuner shop is working on it but i think its a prity hard job. i think u need to rewire alot of pins .in not 100% but i thinkmaybe 70 percent of the pins that goes in the 2 or 3 (cant rember) main plugs needs fabricated or in some way tinkered with to connect to the civic plugs. i told him a moth ago to give up but he is still working. its a hard job and if u have someone do it for u its an EXPENCIVE job but if u got it id give u MAD props man.

ibtl. this has been covered. yes it can be done. also, i belive that someone is selling a plug and play harness for a type-r cluster.

Kazell was the first member to put a RSX Type R cluster in a 7thgencivic

It took some wiring work and fiberglass work for the bezel surround

thanks. holy hell that looks like alot of work. so what is the most common thing people with K20s in their EM2s do? Get a seperate tach?
