would it be smart

I've really been looking at getting HID's for the vic. However I have TYC projectors and I do not want to do a retrofit for the projector. So would I be improving my light output still or would putting HID in that projector mess up the light output? Couldn't really find the feedback I was looking for in previous posts. Thanks to those that can help me out.

stay away from tyc if your doing hid - better to do hid with your oem headlights because it tends to scatter the light output with the oem than tyc

before i wanted those tyc's soo bad but now that i do i wish i had the stock ones to put back in, anyways thanks for the reply
