well yea i mena the ground from battery to tranny i had to get a new terminal and put the wire in the plug. if you can find a way to do it without taking the battery term off more power to you. its not a requirement to take it off just easier. but the chassis to tranny and chassis to engine block are independent of the battery. its just the one battery to chassis thats tricky.

but after its all nice, you maybe have to do it once a month to keep it shiny and it only takes a little time.

That is no problem at all. I have been doing engine maint. recently and un-installed my CAI, and put my stock one back on. There is minimal difference. I think I am not going to buy a header.
I researched how to apply the polish, and it states to use rubber gloves, and afterwards a cloth. Should this cloth be soft, or fibered to clean the surface?

oh um gloves dont matter too much altho it helps. you just get black stuff on your hand that you can wash off. usually the polish will eat through the glove anyway. Just get some cotton detailing cloths, put some polish and rub it hard and fast many times on a small area until the cloth turns dark black. then use a clean side of the cloth to polish the area and gradually repeating this until it shines.
