my custom ignition equalizer kit
well deciding that $110 is too much for the weapon-R version, I decided to make my own for $30 in parts. I know its prolly a waste of time but the valve cover is not grounded so who knows. My version uses the same principle as the WR. Connect coil packs together and ground to chassis. If anybody wants me to make them one, I can for $35 shipped

from the weapon-R site
"The Ignition Equalizer Kit Amplifies the current being delivered to the ignition coil pack by stabilizing the current frequency. A bigger spark means more power, better throttle response and better gas mileage. This kit bolts on top of the ignition coil pack on cars with “Coil over Plug” ignition system. A 6 gauge ground wire is attached to the Equalizer Plate on top of the coils and to a ground on the vehicle. We use Platinum terminals and high quality 6 gauge wire. These kits are made for specific vehicles. Ignition Equalizer plate is made of High quality 6061 Aluminum and then polished to a high finish.
Designed to Equalize current to the coil packs amplifying the charge to ignition system. Increases Gas Mileage, Torque, Throttle Response and Horsepower."

i haven't driven with the wires yet but i dont think it will matter. I'm sure I'll notice something with the hvs gt since it made 10whp on the cyber evo. i get it tomorrow so we'll see

i installed the hvs GT and oh boy what a difference. tons of throttle response and feels more responsive for sure. well the thing with grounding is no you don't need to remove any connections, just add ground wires. but the problem is when removing the battery term bolts i always end up resetting the stupid ecu cause they got loose somehow. same happened tonight when hooking up the hvs. but to do my ignition grounding no it doesn't even connect to the battery. the way i see it either it works or it doesn't . no harm done since the valve cover is isolated from the rest of the car.
