high beam bulb into low beam

On my integra i was able to put the high beam bulbs into the lowbeam sockets with some fabrications. i was wondering if this was also possible with our civics???

the 01-03 uses a one 2 stage bulb per head light not like the integra


and why would you want to do that???

what makes it a hi beam bulb?

you can put 9005 high beams into 9006 low beam of 04-05 civics. High beam bulbs have no coating on the tip of the bulb and contains more lumens, in which lumens is a measrument of light output, usually a lowbeam halogen will have 1000 lumens while a high beam will have 1700. There are 2 pieces of plastic on the inside of the plastic area of the bulb that you have to file down and then you plug and play

my friend did that to his accord, made it way brighter and it was angled right so it wouldn't ***** people off. i guess a cheaper alternative to hids

HaHaHa All i needed to know thanks alot. It really is brighter on my integra thats why i want to do it to the civic. HID come later.
