dc race header does NOT fit autos!

alright, my friend and I just finished trying to install the dc race header for his auto 01 EX coupe. a good waste of 4 1/2 hours.

it just does not fit ... the auto tranny is too big and bulky.

we spent nearly 2 hours trying to make it fit ... with the tranny getting in the way the whole time.

I'm not sure how useful this will be to people, since most people do not want to spend that much money on a header anyway ...

no ... for the HP race header, you trim the motor mount.

dc race header hits the tranny case ... just not enough room.

dc should've done testing on the automatics

well, the cat will be eliminated, so there will be some gains regardless ...

however, it's not the gains that we're concerned about at the moment ... it's just the fact that it doesn't even fit when even the DC website mentions NOTHING about manual trans only.

yes, I suppose I should have.

I've never seen any reviews on here about it. actually, I don't even know anyone on here who has one ... I only remember one guy selling one after having it for like 2 months or so.

the website didn't say anything about it being m/t only, so I didn't think it would be a problem.
