Thanx for the info mang I just got off the phone with your buddy in repair a couple hours ago and he told me about you posting here.
The coolant thing I noticed that with v1.1 the (Honda 10-1030 only) is not there..it just says Honda only. When you select the check box for that in the wizard it will not stay no matter what if you pull it back up for the honda setting, it will for every other one. That is connected or not to the EMS...just in the software. It will run right with the Mustang setting selected and warn up like it should. Well as far as we could get it that is. With the 1.19 software loaded on the same laptop the 30-1030 only is now availiable in the coolant temp wizard and now the check will stay in place. That WAS using the basemap that came with the disc and looking for one online with no luck. Biggest problem we would have is the coolant issue there, and once the motor turned over the injector pulse went to 0 and cut out the engine. Hope that was just funky hardware seeing as how that was def. part of the problem we know now.
As for the EMS trained tuner....nearest one is 4.5 hrs from here....kinda makes it hard to drive a limp car there, didn't wanna spend $$ towing it. It will all work out tho....been intresting at least thus far.
Guess we will see Friday. Taking off for tuning guys keep it locked here for results, and please pray for my sorry, beaten, tired, broke ***!!!

dayum look at the support we are getting from AEM. this helps me make the decision to actually get the EMS vs. the emanage. i knew it was what i wanted because to rev control and top speed gov. but until now i didnt realize the support that AEM would give. i think its cool DELSOLID works for them and is a member here. not to mention the headaches you could have had if the support wasnt there. i know that the emanage is much cheaper but it also doesnt give all the options the EMS does. so i have made up my mind to use the EMS. with my future tune. now i just gotta save quite a bit more!!!!!
hmm, does the ems make you lose anything.? like options or function of anything in the car.
after buying the ems is there more things you need like harnesses and sensors (like the emanage you need to buy these things)?
ive got the emanage now with all the harnesses and the sensor but i havent installed anything yet and the ems is soundign really really tempting right now.

Cost about $1300-1500ish depending on who you get it from. Jeff has the best prices by far tho. He is selling them for $1380 but if you email him or PM him pm here you will probably get a better price.

you can also find them on ebay 30-1030 for $1229. i have a friend that owns a truck performance distributing co. he has an account with AEM i am going to see what he can get me one for!!
The ebay sellers will give you the finger once they got your money and when you have a question.

Rep Power: 281 FYI the tuner had to go to the HOSPITAL TODAY!!! seriously...after lunch he had to go to the emergency room....well they got me set up for 2 days next week though i don't know which 2 tho. I will let every one know as it comes.

Rep Power: 281 ok kiddies Just heard from the tuner and he says that it will be done by b4 xmas barring any new hardware problems. But I did get the new one to connect last friday so it should be all good. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up....once i get results I will start a new thread and show all.

my car has been with my tuner for almost 2 weeks already and they were also having problems with the aem ems it wouldn't engage my vtec so now they are waiting for aem to send them a new map. Good luck to you hope everything gets good fast.

i am in the process on collecting the parts to get the headwork done on a ex head and doing a lx/ex conversion. but i plan to use the ems as well because ill be using the crower stg 2 set up. i hope i dont run into these problems when im ready. i cant be with out the car for that long ill go through withdrawls

^^^^^ Yeah good idea. It sucks to be one of the first. We are like guinea pigs. Other than waiting for the map though i guess its been good. The emanage was fast but yeah it did not offer as much as the ems

Rep Power: 281 Yeah got one for you....will elaborate later. I am getting a refund from AEM. Going Greddy emanage ultimate i hope. Thanx for looking will update once i get new piggyback in car...hopefully very soon. Just gotta wait for the refund.
