need help with my halo headlights
i just changed my stock headlights on my 04 civic with some halo projector lights this weekend. There was one cable that has a black/red wiring and i did not connect them because i didnt know what it is for, but eveything is working properly. Does anyone know what it is for? Do i need to connect it? Also, the right headlight seems to be pointing higher than than the left. How do i adjust the bulb? Also.....where can i get replacement clips because most of mine broke off when i was removing the front bumper and cant find them in any auto parts store. please help. Thanks.

hmmmm..............i think those wires are for the halo rings inside ur headlights u dun really need it unless u want those rings to light up. Im not sure how to do that. U can adjust it by adjusting the projector lense there should be a screw for that, since its aftermarket it might not be protected by a plastic peice and for the replacement clip i have no idea....ebay?

what? well i dun think u have to take off ur bumper , is the headlights installed already? if it is u just have to connect the wire just need to remove ur bumper to install the headlight. Im not sure how to connect the wire but i think u just shave a wire and connect it i seen people have it on but not the low beam on so i guess theyd connected it to that bulb with the 194 bulb. the wires should be in back of the headlight so just pop ur hood unless its different then other angel eyes.
Well if the headlights work fine, thats half the battle. As for the other wires, they are probably for the angel eyes/halos. If you are not sure you could wait till dark, and put a 9 volt battery to the black and red wires just to see what lights up before you go splicing and switching. If the extra wires are for the halos all you need is some wire, 18 or 12 guage stereo wire works. Connect both of the red wires together, both of the black wires together. Basically this is so the halos are in parallel and getting the same amount of voltage. Then connect the wire that connects the red wires together to the positive battery terminal. Then, in a short explination, connect the wire that connects the black wires together to a switch, then the output of the switch to the ground terminal. So basically you wire the halos in parallel and put the switch that prevents current flow on the ground wire. Again, all of this is if the extra wires are for the halos.
Here is a diagram that might help.
- <neg battery terminal
|
~ <switch w\ 1 input and 1 output
/ \
| | <black wires
| |
O O <halos
| |
| | <red wires

+ <positive battery terminal
Someone correct me if i am wrong.

Your correct if they need to be on a switch, but he could just connect them to the wires that control when the headlights are on this way they go on together.
i just wired mine into to the harness for the parking lights. it's for the halo worked like a charm and haven't blown a fuse yet as for the clips, you may be able to find some slightly diff universal ones at autozone or advance or something, otherwise, you'll have to get raped at the dealer for like 2 bucks each!!!
Hi guys dont post here often but eh...
i have some sonar halos, from ebay. i turned the rings blue and after i re-sealed them, i get no fog. im happy, well except the left headlight is way up high and to the left and the right is very low and to the left.
