Sparco Pedals

I'm looking into buying the sparco pedals for the auto (see link) - This Is The Link

Can anybody tell me how these will need to be installed before I buy. I know at least a couple of you have sparco pedals so maybe you can tell me what's involved.

Thanks

Just what swifty said, just a forwarning though, drilling aint easy down below your dash. Have some patience and a sharp drill bit.

Yeah, and when your done, dont touch the pedals for at least half an hour. My brother got burned on the hand real bad when we were putting mine in.

so does the rubber piece come off, you drill holes in the pedal itself and bolt these on?

Yes, the rubber pieces come off. Line up your pedal how you want it and fill in the two overlaying holes w/ something you can see so you know where to drill. When your done, wait and bolt them in from the rear. Oh yeah, make sure you have something underneath the pedals so they dont move.

first take off the rubber pedal, then wrap the metal in some masking tape, and use a felt pen to mark the holes on the pedal......it's much easier to see this way.....also if you have some spring loaded clamps use these to make sure the pedals are in the right place......if you used a good drill bit the pedal should not heat up too much so give it a miniute or two to cool after drilling.....Remember measure twice and drill once!!!!!!

The rubber boots come off the gas & clutch, but not the accelerator. Do you just drill thru the rubber or is there some way to get it off?

The drill goes through the Accelarater real easy... Its like drilling through cardboard.... But the clutch and brake are hard..... Take your time with them
